How the assessment works
The Planaletix AI Readiness Assessment (AIRA) is a structured diagnostic instrument designed to evaluate an organization's preparedness to adopt, scale, and sustain artificial intelligence initiatives at enterprise scale. The assessment produces a scored maturity profile across ten critical dimensions — spanning AI strategy, data readiness, technology infrastructure, governance, responsible AI, talent, use case maturity, culture, investment, and AI security — enabling leadership teams to understand precisely where they stand, where the capability gaps are most consequential, and what to prioritize to accelerate their AI programme.
Version 2.0 of the framework separates AI Governance from Responsible AI & Ethics into two independent dimensions, reflecting the growing consensus that governance (structures, accountability, decision rights, audit trails) and responsible AI (ethics policies, bias assessment, explainability, human oversight, fairness) are distinct disciplines that require independent investment and leadership accountability. It also introduces AI Security & Resilience as a dedicated dimension, addressing the adversarial, operational and supply-chain risks specific to AI systems.
The assessment is not a technology audit. It is a strategic readiness evaluation that examines the full organizational ecosystem required for AI success. It answers the question every leadership team should be confronting: not "are we doing AI?" but "do we have the organizational foundations to make AI work at the scale our strategy requires?"

Frequently asked questions
What does the assessment cover?
Ten weighted dimensions: AI strategy, data readiness, technology infrastructure and MLOps, AI governance, responsible AI and ethics, talent, use case maturity, culture, budget and investment, and AI security and resilience — 100 structured questions in total.
How is the score calculated?
Each dimension is scored on a five-level maturity scale and weighted into an overall score. Because the dimensions are interdependent, the Critical Threshold Rule and cross-dimension consistency checks stop strong areas from masking weak foundations.
What do we receive?
An executive summary with priorities, a maturity profile, per-dimension findings, sector and regional benchmarking, and a 6–12 month action plan with the top five priorities, a capability roadmap, governance and operating-model and resourcing recommendations, and use-case recommendations.
Who should take part?
The leaders accountable for AI — typically the CEO's office, CIO or CTO, Chief Data Officer, Chief Digital or Transformation Officer, and risk and legal leadership.
